Happy Friday everyone!

I am so excited to share this video with you! On Monday I was given the opportunity to get onto a Facebook live with It Works’ Chief Networking Officer Pam Sowder! Pam is such an inspiration to so many women in this business, and she started with the company from the ground up.

I was able to share my story, business building tips, and motivation for everyone that is apart of our amazing company and anyone thinking of joining!

Being able to share my story to help others is something that is so important to me. We all start at square one. No matter what your dream is, you aren’t an expert the day that you decide to start! There will always be seasons of learning, and times that it can be hard.

I think a lot of people forget that it’s okay to be a beginner. A lot of people think the road to success is a straight shot. And knowing that over the past years there has been a lot of seasons of winning for me, there’s also been times that are hard!

It’s not easy to do what we do. If it was, everyone would be doing it! But it is simple. It comes down to deciding that you are going to use this business for what it is, an amazing opportunity! What we do is simple. We’re influencers of amazing products, building our lives and business around that!

But on top of that, we are able to meet amazing women and help them reach their goals, and that is truly my favorite part. It’s not about me, it’s about all of you. It’s about all of the women who are building up other women! When you start to see what network marketing truly is, you’ll be kicking yourself that you didn’t decide to start sooner!

Shortest Month of the Year, Biggest Growth!

The shortest month of the year is always crazy for all of my network marketing babes! We have deadlines to hit, lives to change, and promotions that we all run after.

A lot my followers always ask me what my day to day looks like, and I truly want to give you some insight on life and the way that we build up the amazing businesses that we are apart of!

So… if you truly want to know what my day is like- keep on reading!

I don’t have an alarm clock unless I absolutely have to get up! But, I usually wake up around 8:30 in the morning, and start my day off with a team zoom conference. We plan posts, Instagram stories, chat with ladies from the night before, and grow our networks. One of my favorite things to do is start my day with my team. It fills my cup and seeing the excitement from everyone in the beginning of the day is exactly what I need! Striating your day on your own terms and time is life changing. When I left my marketing firm in November I was the queen of setting alarms, and hitting snooze. I now wake up inspired and excited- ask my roommate she will tell you I can be too much energy in the morning! 

I journal every single morning with my Dream Life Daily Journal. If ya’ll don’t have a copy of this, you NEED ONE! No matter what your profession is. It is the best feeling to see you life goals, daily goals, and prayers written down. It takes 20 minutes out of your day, I sip my coffee and take a breath. (And yes I am 100% drinking my keto coffee topped with whipped cream as per usual!) My cats distract me, my house can be little too clean, and I work from my bed, desk, or couch. The Office is almost always on repeat in the background.

Throughout the day I am marketing on my insta, hopping onto calls, chatting and training with my team, or heading off to work with some of my local teammates! I can always pick up my business, or take a break! The day of the week doesn’t matter anymore, if I want to adventure, go skiing, shop, head to the gym, I can work and do both! I used to constantly be waiting for the weekend. Now, I always forget what day of the week it is!

Sometimes, I’m in my pjs all day, working on 6 hours of sleep, on my 4th cup of coffee, and running out of dry shampoo, but I wouldn’t change that for the world.

I work my business every single day, but on MY terms and no one else’s. The deadlines that I miss are on me, the goals I hit are on me! Can you imagine your day like that?

After dinner, I always check in with everyone! Most of my clients and teammates are free in the evening. 90% of them work this business while in school, or with another job, or BOTH!

I know it seems like this business is simple, and easy! Well, that’s because it IS! But, it’s still a business. You have to show up for your business. Joining a company then doing nothing will get you nowhere! Let me put it this way, if you were given a pizza restaurant, a secret recipe to success, all the tools you need to be successful, but you never show up and hire anyone to help… what do you think will happen? Your business will never be successful!

Our team is experiencing massive growth because we have people showing up every day. Women building other women up, tools to help us be the best we can be, and an amazing company behind us.

Before I go to bed, I am always reading, watching self development, or listening to podcasts of people who are more successful than me.

Can you see this being your day? Even if you start by adding it to your schedule that you have now? We all start at square one, hoping and praying this business will work.

Knowing that in 28 days I have changed hundreds of lives fuels me. The months may fly by, but every day I am doing work that makes me feel so fulfilled. So… are you ready yet???

Why I chose It Works

On your instagram profiles you see it all the time- women making an extra income from their phone, sometimes an amount so big- that it’s hard to wrap your mind around it. How can you make so much money from posting on social media? How is it possible that this girls’ life is such an adventure?

I had these questions too! Especially before I joined. So many of you who read my blog, also follow me on my Insta, and you can see my highlight reel daily with all of the things that I’ve been up to. But it didn’t start that way, and I want you to know that! Even right now as I type this blog my hair is up in a messy bun, I have no makeup on, and I’m in a cozy sweatshirt.

I was just like you. I saw people absolutely killing their businesses and making a full time income while also being in college, raising their kids, and having the freedom of time. But I was nervous to ask HOW, I was scared that it wouldn’t work for me. My life was average, I didn’t know a ton of people, my insta had 350 followers and I can promise you I couldn’t take a cute selfie to save my life.

In the summer of 2015 I finally decided that my life needed a change. I took the leap to join It Works without truly understanding all of the things that this company would give me. I was a junior in college, on the executive board of ADPi, working, going to school, and I had an internship. Did I feel ready to start this?? NO! Was I scared? YES! But, I thought to myself the best things that have ever happened in my life are on the other side of fear.

Over the next few months, I jumped into learning about the business, the compensation plan, and how to take a good selfie! (Pro tip: set your phone up in the windowsill and set a timer! It’s the best lighting). Some of you saw me start that journey, some of you see where I am today! I started to add our products into my daily life, and found a regime that helped me lose 14lbs!

My gosh you guys, the list of just the start of my journey can go on and on!

On top of making a full time income while still in college, I also started to meet some of the most down to earth women, who are inside and out amazing people. My closest friends are now because of this business, and I have friends all over the country. We build each other up and we are supportive of our dreams.IMG_6099.jpeg

I get it, you need to think about it. It’s not the right time, you’re too busy. From al small town. Wouldn’t be able to do this like me. Oh wait… actually, I don’t get it anymore. I had all of those fears an excuses to not start. Some of my top leaders did too. But I now know for a fact, anyone that wants this opportunity can take this and run full force to change their life.

I think so many women need to push the excuses, fears, and he said she said about what we do aside, and TRY IT for themselves. You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take!

I chose It Works because I wanted an extra $300 a month in college. I will continue to choose this company because of the lives I get to change, and the freedom I am able to have on this amazing adventure.

Let’s Stick to Our Resolutions

It’s January 2nd, which means you just started- or already stopped- or are waiting to start your 2019 New Year’s resolution.

These past few years I’ve set a few resolutions. One for my health, one for my wealth, and one for my personal development. I can tell you that I have met some of these resolutions. But, like many people, have also fallen off the wagon and stopped them.

The great thing about a resolution is even if you stop, miss a day, week, or a month, there is always the next day to hit the reset button. Stating that you are going to work out every single day, then already missing today does not at all mean that you should be waiting until next year to get going again.

Do you ever have a feeling that you are about to have a good day? Well that’s how I feel about 2019, and I know a lot of you feel that way too!

I am by no means an expert on helping you keep your resolution, but I can tell you this. Don’t set a goal up for failure. If you go to the gym once a week- don’t tell yourself that you need to go every day. If you know you need to save $5000, don’t tell yourself that you can’t spend any money. It turns to shopping sprees and treat yourself moments that blow your budget.

One way that I like to set goals is using a qualitative measurement versus a quantitive number. Yes, I want to lose weight, have more money, and make myself an overall better person by doing X, Y, and Z. But I found that when you connect your feelings to your goals it makes it so much easier to reach.

When I lost 14lbs last year, I loved seeing that number on the scale, but I also loved the way looked in my favorite jeans and bathing suit more. My body had more energy, I felt better. From my paychecks I started to take $100 a week out of my checking account into an account I couldn’t electronically transfer from. I told myself that I needed to be a better leader and more assertive so my team could start to prosper as well. This lead me to make the decision to leave a job that no longer satisfied me or my goals.

I want you to know that I am rooting for you this year! Leave the goals and deadlines you didn’t meet in 2018, set new goals for this year, and get ready to make 2019 your year!

Thankful Thoughts!

Every year at Thanksgiving the time comes around where I truly start to feel thankful for every little thing.  When I was younger, I always liked Thanksgiving for the food, but waited for Christmas because that was the ‘better’ holiday- with gifts.

As I’ve gotten older, I’ve realized that it’s a million tiny things that make Thanksgiving one of the best holidays. My family’s table has gotten smaller throughout the years as loved ones have passed on. And so many things have changed especially this year.

The traditions that my family has taught me growing up, will stay forever though. Like waking up the day before Thanksgiving knowing that I’ll be spending the afternoon cutting apples, making pumpkin pie’s, getting the stuffing ready, and watching my mom prep the turkey.  It’s so easy to remember the days where my grandma was able to make pies with us, but now it’s become a job for my mom and me.  We quote classic family disputes, conversations and my dad even keeps our Hungarian prayer before we eat dinner.

In these coming years,  I know that my family’s table will start to grow, with new family members, and friends to share the day with!  Spending time with the people that matter most,  is truly what this holiday is all about!  Of course, you also have to eat way too much turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes!

In 2018, I’ve been thankful for so many things.  Being able to spend the day with my mom, dad, brother, and sister in law is seriously one of the biggest blessings in itself!  Sometimes, we get so caught up in the day today that we forget what the big picture is. I have a especially learned these past 11 months that putting yourself first, and your dreams first is the most important thing to do! I wouldn’t of been able to do it without the support of all of them!

November has been a big month for me, and as most of you know I went full-time as an entrepreneur with my business! It’s been a change, in the best way possible!  As I’ve transitioned into this role, I’ve planned big things for my blog in these upcoming months!

To all of my readers, I’m so thankful for you! And I can’t wait to see where this new adventure brings me!

Some of My Favorite #MondayMotivation

Mondays can be tough. Whether you’re a full time entrepreneur, work a 9-5, or work a few jobs, Monday is always the reset of the work week!

This morning I woke up and all I wanted to do was stay in bed for the morning and push all of my work off until ‘later.’ But, we all know that the words “I’ll do it later,” mean I am putting this off until I actually have to do it- or just put it off forever!

I had to find a way to start my week off with as much energy as I ended my week, so I turned to self motivation! It could be a podcast (my current obsession is the Jennifer Allwood show!), book, or video.

For those of you that haven’t read Girl Wash Your Face… Get. This. Book. Get it right now! I have to say that it has been a game changer for me! And a chapter a day to start the morning has been the perfect way to start the day! I’ve also been reading Mastering Your Inner Mean Girl, and Leave Your Mark!

If books aren’t really your thing (I get it who has time to read!) Videos might be your go to! I’ve tried to stop the mindless scroll on all my social and change it to something meaningful- follow Tony Robbins, Grant Cardone, or Rachel Hollis for some quick videos.

Sometimes it can take just a few minutes to turn your entire day around! You have the power to do that. Know that even on those days that you don’t feel your best- your hustle can’t stop!

One of those mornings coffee

One of Those Mornings- And a Spilt Cup of Coffee

It was one of those mornings. You have 1000 things to do and you’ve already woken up late. You skip the shower and swap for dry shampoo. Your makeup routine becomes nonexistent, and coffee becomes breakfast.

This morning that was me. My alarm went off at 7:45- and I decided to spend 25 extra minutes in bed. Almost every morning, I get lost on Instagram, checking my blog stats, updating my email, and watching videos on Facebook.

Now, it’s 8:05. I plan my outfit and check the clock- it’s 8:17. Seriously where does time go in the morning? When you have somewhere to be it always goes by too quickly. I grab my towel and knock over all of shampoos (probably waking up my roomie) and hop into the shower. When I rush out of the bathroom- I quickly throw on my favorite little black dress, a jean jacket, and my favorite sandals (from Target) on.

I run downstairs quickly feed my cats- make myself a coffee, hairspray, clean up my mess from last night, and I’m out the door at 8:54. Besides being late, I’m already feeling stressed about the day, I have meetings, calls with my team, and a million things to do in between…

I spill my coffee.

That feeling is the worst. I’m already late world, thanks for making me even more late- and now I have hot coffee all over my leg and on my steering wheel and the day is ruined. We’ve all been there right?

Sometimes, I forget the big picture. No, My crazy morning will not ruin my day.

So what do I do to take back my day?

  • Take a deep breath. I just stop and tell myself, “I’m already late what is one more minute?” Because seriously, the world will not stop if I show up a few minutes late.
  • Put self motivation on! I’ll throw on a podcast by one of my favorite motivators! Rachel Hollis, Grant Cardone, Tony Robbins, are always ready to go on my Spotify.
    • Tony always says, “Motion is created by EMOTION,” so what emotion will define your day?
  • Listen to your favorite song in the car on repeat, way too loud for your commute or drive!
  • Lastly, and most importantly, plan something fun later on in the day! (And if that is popping your favorite bottle of wine and eating ice cream for dinner you go girl!)

I’m not an expert at ‘adulting,’ you’ll always hear me admit! But I’ve found so many ways to take back my day after I’ve spilt my coffee.

So you want to be a successful young entrepreneur?

Me too.

We all go through that phase in college where we’re trying to find not only what we want to do, but also how we’re going to crush our careers and be the best that we can possibly be. When we’re then given a diploma, it can be scary standing in that doorway not knowing where we will be taking the next steps in our lives.

No one is an expert at their field when they first start a career path. I’m deciding daily what I want to do and what my next grand idea will be. I’m telling you that it’s OKAY to constantly change what you want. It’s even okay to mess up 100 times and then decide finally what you want to do. It is useless if you aren’t actively trying to figure out what you want to do. I don’t know about you, but I never want to find myself sitting in a cubicle wondering where the last 20 years of my life have gone.
